What you have here is simply a simple variation on an established theme. If you can add a connector to combine two yurts why can't you do more? Well you can.

When people feel that separation of space is a paramount concern, we recommend the tripod design.. Sometimes this style has been chosen because the second module will be a separate in-law apartment. Sometimes it is the rebellious teens that need their own domain. We have even built this style of building for families that are trying the co-housing concept and want one central living and eating area but need separate private areas. Whatever the reason, this is an established design that can be built initially or can be a concept that is thought of as a way to expand if needed. Ultimately it will give you a spacious design with maximum view on one side and an enclosed courtyard concept on the other. As we have seen again and again, flexibility reigns supreme.
